Steve's first solo album “Break Away” had fans divided as it was so much different from his work with FM, but many grew to love it as it was something different from the norm.
For the second album Khalil Turk introduced Tor Talle to Steve and they started writing together materials for the past 12 months and they decided to take this album towards more AOR/Rock which Steve Overland well known for and much loved for, and the result is "Diamond Dealer” What Steve gives us with his second outing is a more classic approach to melodic rock, with great songs that have feeling and depth. Songs such as “Brave new world”, “I'm Still Breathing” and “Heart's don't lie”, "Bring Me Water" all hit home with maximum effect. They are sung from the heart and it is another testimony to the fact that Steve is probably the most passionate vocalist that the UK has ever produced.

There is so much going on at the moment I don't know where to start :)
First of all second "Overland" album is being recorded as we speak over in Sweden.
We have a great Producer to produce the album by the name of Martin Kronlund at
JM Recording Studio's, Gothenburg, he has produced some great albums, and from Norway Tor Talle on (Lead guitars/ keyboards)
and also some of top Swedish session players are contributing to the new album such as (Imre Daun - Drums, Henrik Thomsen. –Bass.
The Songs for the second"Overland" album were all co-written with whizz guitarist Tor Talle from Norway, whom Khalil Turk
introduce to me. We wrote and demoed altogether 19 songs and we had to chose 13 songs for the album, and I do think they are all very strong songs and that you should all be very happy with the results.

Tor Talle, Joe Lynn Turner and Deanna Johnston have written a song for the upcoming
Joe Lynn Turner album. The song “Your Love Is Life” is a very melodic hardrock/AOR song.
This new songwriter team are so satisfied with the song that they will continue writing more songs together.
Joe Lynn Turner- Second Hand Life is being mixed in february and march. There are 11 tracks on each of the albums. Each one has a unique bonus track. The CD is scheduled for an april 4 th. release in Japan and at a date to be announced in Europe on Frontiers. There is also a possibility of a USA release. Tor Talle and Marianne Hagen`s new band SHINE can be heard on Norwegian radio with the song “All My Tomorrows”. The song is currently # 1 on the charts of radio channel NRK. Visit www.myspace.com/shinemusikk for more info.
Tor and Marianne will be playing a acoustic concert in Førde (Sunnfjord hotel) on the 13th of January. The concert starts at 21.30 (Norwegian time).
They will be playing some new songs, some songs from the Northern Light album and of course “All My Tomorrows”.

NORTHERN LIGHT – Live in Sogndal. For the first time Tor will be playing songs from the Northern light album. He will perform a acoustic set with the singer PERSA. There will also be a concert in Leikanger.
The NORTHERN LIGHT shows:
Friday June 30 - Outdoor concert in Sogndal (kl 2200 – Norwegian time )
Friday June 30 - Leikanger – Fjordkroa (kl 2330 – Norwegian time )

Tor and Rob Moratti (Final Frontier) have just finished recording a song called "playing with fire" for the MELODICROCK album 2006. www.melodicrock.comThe song is a catchy AOR tune written by Tor and Rob.
Last week Peter Sundell recorded vocals for the song "Walking On Air". This song is a catchy rock/AOR song and could easily make it as a hitsong for the radiostations around the world.
Tor and his new songwriterpartner Lars Abrahamsson (BrokeNBlue) has written some amazing songs together. Some of the songtitles are: In Time, Within Your Eyes, Halfway Back To You and Memoria Avenue.
MTR - this new acoustic trio willl be playing many shows in some parts of Norway this year. Stay tuned for more info. MTR are: Marianne Hagen, Roger Allan Ivin and Tor Talle.

Tor would like to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
He will start the new year mixing two songs for Tony Mills upcoming AOR album.
Next week Tor will record a song for a singer called Lasse Køster. The song is written by Tor and Lars Abrahamsson (BrokeNblue) and the title is ”Memoria avenue”. This is a very melodic midtempo rock song in the style of ”Giant”.
In a few months Tor will start recording songs for the next NORTHERN LIGHT album and also this time he got some amazing singers with him on the new project.
Tor and Tony Mills have already written and recorded two songs for the album and the songs are ”Across the barricades” and ”Every new frontier”.
Check out a new band called ”Bloodbound” on www.bloodbound.se. This is the new band of Fredrik Bergh (Street talk ).
The music section is updated with some songs from Tor`s democd from 1999 called ”Songs from the heart”.

Tony Mills (Shy) and Tor have just started writing some songs together. So stay tuned for some classic AOR tunes.
Marianne Hagen and Tor has also two projects going on for the moment. HIGHLIGHT, a rock/pop project and EDEN, a really cool project inspired by norwegian folk music, Enya and Sara Brightman mixed with heavy guitars. Eden has recorded two songs called ”Silhouettes” and ”I`m Still Waiting”.

Tor and his producer Kjetil Nesheim has mixed 9 of 13 songs for the Northern Light album. In the end of next week all the songs will be mixed and ready for mastering in Germany.
Northern light want`s to welcome two new singers on board – "Rob Moratti" from the AOR band "Final Frontier" and the Norwegian newcomer "Persa".

MTM signed new super AOR band NORTHERN LIGHT feat. Tor Talle:
We are proud to announce the signing of a new high class AOR band: NORTHERN LIGHT feat. Tor Talle!!
Northern light is a new super project from the Norwegian guitarplayer / songwriter Tor Talle. After being a session player and writing music for television, documentary, webmovies and other artists, Tor felt the need to go back to his melodic rock roots.
For the moment Tor is in studio recording songs for his first AOR album of NORTHERN LIGHT with well known singers as Fergie Frederiksen (x-TOTO, MECCA), Tony Mills (SHY), Peter Sundell (GRAND ILLUSION) and Kimmo Blom (URBAN TALE, HEARTPLAY).
Tor has written some awesome songs in the melodic rock style, some by his own and some together with Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK), Jorn Lande (MASTERPLAN), Terje Eide (ON THE RISE), Peter Sundell and Kimmo Blom.
Releasedate for the Northern light album will be spring 2005.
Fergie has picked a song called "Eye To Eye". Tor: "Today I have been in studio recorded the backing and I will send Fergie a CD tommorow. Peter Sundell is in studio recording a new song. Kimmo Blom is also working with a song written by me, Fredrik Bergh and Kimmo Blom and two songs written by myself where Kimmo will finish the lyrics. Terje Eide and myself has just written a song together.
Tor Talle is following his comments: "Hello, first of all I will give Mario and Sebastian at MTM a big thanks for signing my new project "NORTHERN LIGHT", I`m really glad you liked my music and gave me the chance to realize my dream."
"I`m so excited about this project and I can`t wait to release the album. I`m really happy with the songs and I got some amazing singers with me on this album. It`s an honor and a privledge to work with Fergie Frederiksen, Tony Mills, Peter Sundell and Kimmo Blom."
